About us
We are a group of staff and alumni of Community High School dedicated to coordinating the
establishment of a historical marker to honor and recognizes the history and legacy of
Jones School and the African American and Black community in Ann Arbor.
We also hope to host a number of events for current Community High School students and
the broader Ann Arbor area community to learn, remember, and celebrate this history throughout 2022-2023.
